Macadamia nuts

Our production range of natural styles are supplied in 11.34 kilo vacuum sealed bags and can keep fresh sealed for up to 2 years. Opened packs should be stored air tight for up to 2 to 3 weeks, preferably refrigerated. Nuts can be purchased raw, or flavoured ( dry roast, salted, chocolate, honey roast, chilli, herbs and spices, BBQ ).

Styles are supplied in 11.34 kilo packs

Style 1 - whole nut - 18mm to 20 mm- Min 95% whole kernel. suggested use - Handmade Confectionery.

Style 2 - whole/ halves -13mm to 15mm – Snack nuts, mixed, bakery toppings.

Style 3 - prem:halves -10mm to 14mm-Bakery, economy snacks, ice cream, salad...

Style 4 - Premium chips - 5mm to 9 mm- Biscuits, pasteries, health bars, breads, cookies, Pesto, sauces and shortbreads.

Macadamia Oil

Our own macadamia oil has been mechanically pressed from macadamia nut (macadamia interifolia) kernel in its native area of north eastern New South Wales, Australia. It is unique in its fatty acid composition having approximately 80% mono-unsaturated acids in Triglycerides of which 14 & 21% is Palmitoeic acid. Macadamia oil has a recommended shelf life of two years. We supply in branded (or unbranded) 500ml bottles packed for export in cartons of 6. The oil is also available in 20 litre drums with tap, 200 kg drum and 900kg pallecon.

Macadamia Stock Feed

Our Micronised nut in shell is recommended as vital nutrition for horses.It is also being used for cattle to improve health and weight stability. It is currently being used as a horse food supplement for thorough-bred horses and we have found highly beneficial benefits for stock horses and show ponies.We choose to  mix with dried cereal mix to boost protein levels. The product specifications are available on application and nutritional benefits are described below.

MACAVITE DDC™ is a co-product of the macadamia and distillers industries,obtained by micronising macadamia nut in shell and mixing with dried cereal,mainly sorghum,  fermenting the starch in grain in the production of the product.

The micronised macadamia as a stand alone product may be mixed with any dry protein enhancing stock feed. It provides the necessary protein and energy essentials for livestock if mixed in appropiate proportions with any high protein approved feed. We choose to provide our Macavite DDC tm as a pre mix in 20 kilo bags for graziers seeking to boost their existing stock feed. In its current form it is best fed as a supplement to hay or pasture.
Feed at up to 1% of body weight with hay or pasture.
